Welcome to the HBOS Pension Planner
Your 2009 Pension Benefit Statement
The projected pension figure given on your 2009 Pension Benefit Statement may be different to the results that the Pension Planner will give you. This is because the figure given on your statement has been calculated using assumptions required by legislation, whereas the Pension Planner allows you to vary the assumptions used.
Pension Planner is designed to give colleagues an indication of how, for members of the HBOS Group Money Purchase Scheme, pension benefits might look at retirement.
It does not take into account the new contribution structure that applies from 2011 for Defined Contribution (Money Purchase) pension scheme.
The HBOS Pension Planner consists of three screens:
- Input Form
Enter a few basic details about yourself to get things started. - Contribution Calculator
Set your current salary and how much you want to contribute towards your retirement and see that figure grow - thanks to help from HBOS and sizeable tax breaks. - Pension Calculator
See a projection of your fund and what your annual pension and tax-free cash might be worth when you reach retirement.
Wherever you are asked to input information you can either:
- use the keyboard to enter a value or
- use the mouse to click on the arrows or drag the sliders up and down.
If you see a blue question mark, click on this for more information and help about that item.
If you see a yellow warning triangle, you should click the triangle to see important information about the step you are at.
Click on the link below to access the Pension Planner and don't forget to read the help page and other important information too.
